11 kW charging station

Charging stations for 11 kW cars are devices that are used to recharge electric and hybrid cars. These stations provide a balance between charging speed and accessibility, making them a popular choice for home and public use.

Appointment

The main purpose of 11 kW charging stations is to provide convenient and relatively fast charging of electric vehicles in conditions where a full charge is not required immediately, but is desirable within a few hours. Such stations are the golden mean between slow home charging with a capacity of about 2.2–3.6 kW and high-speed charging stations that can offer power from 22 kW and above.

General characteristics

• Power. As the name suggests, these stations provide charging power of up to 11 kW, which makes them suitable for fast charging.
• Compatibility. Most 11 kW stations are compatible with a wide range of electric vehicles using standard connector types such as Type 2 (Mennekes) in Europe.
• Effectiveness. Charging at such stations is more efficient than conventional home charging due to the higher power.
• Charging time. On average, it will take from 3 to 6 hours to fully charge an electric car, depending on the battery capacity and initial charge level.

Places of use

• Private houses and garages. Ideal for home use, allowing owners to charge their cars overnight.
• Office buildings. They are installed in parking lots of office buildings for employees and visitors.
• Shopping malls and entertainment complexes. They provide visitors with the opportunity to charge cars while shopping or relaxing.
• Hotels and resorts. They offer guests the convenience of charging during their stay.
• Public parking lots and parking complexes. Expand the availability of electric vehicles by offering charging stations as an additional service.

The 11 kW charging stations provide the optimal combination of charging speed and convenience, making them an ideal choice for a wide range of users and places of use. They play a key role in increasing the attractiveness of electric vehicles by providing convenient infrastructure for everyday use.
