Filling level control is an important form of quality testing that determines the height of the liquid inside the container during filling operations. Filling drinks at a standard level is becoming an increasingly difficult task, as overfilling and underfilling significantly affect both customer satisfaction and profitability.

For transparent bottles, camera technology can be used to capture images of liquid levels from the front, as well as a professional image processing system to detect high and low levels. The X-ray based level detector is designed to determine the level of liquid in opaque containers. The liquid level in the products can be determined by analyzing the different absorption of X-rays by inclusions.

The principle of operation of the equipment

The company has developed and released an X-ray liquid level inspector. It uses the principle that the intensity of the beam varies depending on the position of the surface of the material after the interaction of a low-energy photonic source with the measured substance to determine the volume of the liquid filler. Thanks to the non-contact measurement method, it solves the most difficult problem related to the fact that the traditional weighing method cannot measure the volume of filler on the production line. Therefore, it is widely used in online food and beverage detection.
